Monday, already?

This is what I wish I were I doing....I am so tired! It would be so great, to be home, still in bed, with the covers pulled up, coffee in hand, relaxing....
Cause, Lord knows...I didn't relax for one minute of my weekend! I was so busy...hence the no posting all weekend!

Now, I am back to work..boss is in the office all morning, so I will have to make this quick....

Had the three youngest kids all weekend....of course, the oldest was not heard from at all...he is too busy, living his life, I guess...anyway....Friday night, after work, I drove 40 miles to pick up Justin, did the shopping, rented some movies...tried to watch Pirates of the Carribean 3....because, you know, I needed, really...really needed my Johnny Depp fix...but, I was so tired...I fell asleep half way through it, never finished watching it...I found it a little boring....kind of hard to follow. Maybe it was because it had been so long since I seen the 2nd one..I had no clue what was going on..may have to make time to finish it though...even it is only to drool some more over Captian Jack...lol.

Saturday...I spent my entire morning running Dixie's Diner....breakfast cooked to order. Can't tell you how many times I yelled out, "Order up"...then realized I had no waitress, so I had to serve the food too! LOL....breakfast was over kitchen cleaned up by 11 a.m...then I moved on to housework...cleaned until 2 p.m...then, the entire clan was sreaming once again, " I am starving, when's lunch"...Oy! They are like, ALWAYS FREAKING HUNGRY! Once again, reopened the diner, lunch made to order, service given, then clean up once more. By 3 p.m....I was exhausted.....mumbling to myself, I don't work this hard at work...All you stay at home Mom's out there, I commend you...I love my family dearly, but I don't think that I could stay at home with them all day, every day! It's tough!

Went to the movies Saturday evening....older boy and I seen I am Legend....was ok..if you like a cross between Die Hard and Night of the Living Dead...definitely not one of Will Smiths best movies....too repetitive.....wake up, pillage through the dead town, avoid mutants, go home, lock up, wake up, pillage city, fight mutants, over and over and over. My advice, save your $8.75, rent it when it comes out on DVD.

Sunday, more of the same old....cooked, cleaned up, went grocery shopping with the hubby, came home, watched Justin, older boy, get totally ticked off over the Colts game....I admit it....can't believe they lost! Unbelievable game!
Took older boy home.....came home, did the get ready for school the next day thing...you know, baths, lay out clothes for work/school, etc...tuck kids in bed....
Tuck Max in again, oh like 11 times...before he finally gives it up and goes to sleep.

He drives me nuts...I put him to bed, every night, he gets up, with every excuse under the sun, at least a half dozen times, if not more....works me to death!

I was at the end of my rope with him last night....after my weekend, catering to every one....I was exhausted....all I wanted to do was relax, wrap up my weekend, with a little Lost, Season 3...got to get caught up before the 31st yall, and he would not let me.

Thankfully, hubster was in bed for a change, sleeping, since he had to work last night....not snoring on the chaise...but Max just would not give it up! Finally, 2hours after he went to bed, he was asleep..then hubster got up for work...he knew I was at the end of my rope, so to speak...I heard him messing around in the bedroom...getting ready for work.....he comes out, tells me has the bed all ready for me...anytime I am ready to go to sleep....then he heads out the door to work.
Around eleven, I head to bed....guess what I found on my pillow???

This...

Except, it was larger than that....it was a mutant banana..at least 10 inches long...do you think hubster thought I needed more potassium...or something else?

Bwuhhaaahhhaaaa! He is such a comedian!

Ok, I'll say it - did the banana get a good workout or did you just eat it?

Kim....yeah, I thought I was going to go nuts, I was so exhausted...had to come back to work today to rest..lol.

Nap..clock is back up...and, um...the banana...well, you know hubby didn't put it thier for the potassium..lol. Our weekend was so busy, we didn't have time for each other..so, I think that was his subtle little hint..

Monk...I didn't use it for purpose intended and I ate it for breakfast this morning, so there!

lol @ the banana. you know, bananas also are a good source of B vitamins, which are also good for a mental and emotional pick-me-up.

well, and then there's the other thing too... :-D
