Today, I am 38 years old...My God...where has the time gone? I am almost 40...time for mammograms and geritol....crap!
I get to celebrate it though, by telling hubby that I got a speeding ticket....what kind of cop gives someone a speeding ticket on their birthday? Montgomery County police....Crawfordsville, Indiana...that's who....jerk! Now, I was speeding....15 miles over the speed limit, but not intentionally...I just was not paying attention...I was too busy yakking my mouth to my son, not paying attention...the car in front of me was going faster...and I was just kind of going with the flow, so to speak, he passed us, then turned around and came after me, because the truck in front of me was long gone, he couldn't get us both...so, he got me to the tune of $134...and probably increase in my insurance...which sucks...because this is the second ticket I have gotten, in the same county, in less than a year...
Oh, well...guess I will keep the damn cruise control set from now on....
Well, the family is taking me out to eat...enjoy your Sunday!

I'm 10 years older. . . not on geritol yet, and with my children all grown up I'm not missing 38 no way no how. Girl you embed this in your mind. . . IT ALL GETS BETTER AFTER 40.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hate you got a ticket. I got one recently but they let me take driving school, is that an option for you? It didn't go on my insurance that way. Cops suck!! They should be out fighting crime, not MILF's just getting their kids around town.

Flat...it sucks, doesn't it? I don't know about driving school..this is the second one in a year...so, I will have to check into that option. I totally agree, and thanks for the MILF comment...I needed that, especially since I don't much feel like one anymore. I used to could talk my way out of a ticket, no problem....but this past year, no doing....either I'm getting less charming, or the cops or becoming more desensitized.

From Jamestown back to our home town in southern Illinois--we bought a horse trailer up there and picked it up last nite.

Paige....I used to could talk myself out of a ticket everytime...I really must be losing my touch...ever since...I have utilized the cruise control...I am screwed if I get another one.
