I get to leave work early....not by choice mind you...I have to go to the dentist...
I have had four children....anquished through many hours of labor...I would rather have another baby, without an epidural, then to go to the dentist. I have had this tooth,that I had a root canal on last year, it has gradually gotten worse since then...it cracked all the way through; Needless to say, it can not be saved...it has to come out. Then I get to have a bone graft, to make way for an implant. At least it is in the very back of my mouth. I may be from the south, but I be darned if I am going to fit that "toothless, hillbilly" stereo type. It gets better...next week, I get to go back..for a double root canal on the other side...I truly must have pissed the dental gods off! Too much for one person, too much I say! I hope I don't pass out...they refuse to put me under. Woe is me....
I hope he gives me some good pain killers...

I hate going to the dentist too. I actually need a root canel, but I'm too much of a wimp. Plus I don't have dental insurance and I don't want to shell out the bucks. I hope all goes well (and painless) for you.

I am lucky in the fact that we have good dental insurance..I still had to pull a couple hundred bucks out of pocket for the lovely experience...not to mention cost of a root canals...Whew! Guess the kids don't have to have Christmas this year...lol...Thanks everyone for your well wishes! Bradley...you are right...things could be worse...still, just no fun to go to the dentist..a toothache is a horrible kind of pain...
