IT WAS A STRANGE NIGHT ON DANCING WITH THE STARS LAST NIGHT.....

Last night was intended to be the sexiest night of the season....stars performed two of the sexiest Ball room dances ever...The Samba and The Rumba...

The night started out with Marie and Jonathan...

dancing The Samba...I felt she did a great job...but at the end, before receiving her scores, Marie was a little over excited...jumping up and down; before Len could give his final thoughts...Marie literally took to the floor...SHE FAINTED/PASSED OUT...WHATEVER! Scared the crap out of me! I thought she had a heart attack or something! I did get to see this before I had to stop watching last night. That was the longest commercial break ever! When the show came back on...Marie was fine...Said she does that sometimes...just quits breathing, faints. Scary stuff...Glad to know she is ok though and they ended with a score of (21)...

There was some irony after Marie and Jonathans dance...Jane and Tony came out performing The Rumba.....
.....Dancing to the song "Breathe Again"....lol...umm...sorry...couldn't help but mention that..(I am in no way making light of what happened to Marie last night...I love her...I just thought the irony was too funny not to share)...HHrrummpphhh...moving on. Last week, Jane gave us an enchanting waltz...she did not fail to please this week either. Her Rumba was very steamy and sexy...her body is absolutely amazing. She danced very well, bringing romance into the dance in a very classy way. One of the judges stated she looked like Edyta...it was that good and professional. I feel it was once again, A job well done! There score was (26)...

Third to dance for the evening....Mark Cuban and Kim...they danced The Samba...
They decided to go for the entertainment factor last night....looking nerdish, dancing to an I Dream of Jenny theme...and it was in fact very entertaining..but, as far as the dancing part goes...the poor guy just is not a dancer...his technique still needs lots and lots of work...He is definitely no Fred Astaire....and he knows this. Therefore he is utilizing his capitalizing and people skills, along with his business savy to keep himself in this competition. He is at the bottom of my list for favorites....as well as with his scores....last nights score was (21) and I truly feel he will be going home tonight.

Fourth couple to dance last night....Sabrina and her partner Mark did a fantastic job dancing The Rumba....
Sabrina gently pulled everyone in with her performance last night..once again, an excellent job....it was very sexy, Bruno told them "To get a room"...but Len felt it was over the top...too many "tricks", which Bruno totally disagreed with..but as Bruno said, "A good trick is a good trick"..it was a totally grown up and ripe performance....still keeping her in as a very strong contender with a score of (28)!

Jenny and Derek were next up to dance The Samba....

They did just O.k...all the steps were done but she kind of stalled half-way through the dance, stumbled just a little. She was trying to be sexy, and with sexiness you either have it from within or you don't...Jenny doesn't have it from within. She just couldn't pull it off, she was just to ridged for this sexy dance...I wasn't wowed, that's for sure. Jenny ended with a score of (25)..placing her in the bottom half of the competition.

The sixth couple to dance for the night were my favorites...Helio and Julianne....

Now we all know that throughout this competition, Helio and Julianne's chemistry together has been amazing...over the top...this dance being the sexiest dance of the ballroom, we were expecting them to take that chemistry to an even higher level..and.....they didn't. What a disappointment....poor Helio...I think he needs to have some new spark plugs in his engine....to rev it back up next week. Their dance was very focused...almost mechanical..wasn't very romantic either....where was the sexiness? Not there....Helio almost looked flustered....like he was in pain or something. I don't know...they scored just (23) out of 30....Bring it back next week, Helio...make the judges eat their words!

Scoring the highest score of the night, (29) out of 30 were Mel B and Maxim...

Bruno said together, they were like M & M's...very sweet and delicious....They danced like a fury last night...it was a fantastic performance....very vibrant/sassy. Best dance for them so far..best Samba of the night. Well done!

Last but not least...dancing the sexiest dance of the night...Cameron and Edyta.

He is absolutely amazing..last week Superman, this week like a lion on the prowl! GGgrrrrr! It was very passionate, very hot and very authentic...He continues to improve week after week...becoming more and more versatile...final score...(26)

So..tonight...9 p.m...the results show...Who is going to bite the dust tonight? I think it will be Mark or Jenny....with my strong feelings leaning towards Mark. Also, rumor has it J.LO...will be performing tonight...let's watch and discuss the results tomorrow.

Hi DC:

Last night's show was WEIRD in several aspects.

Marie fainting of course, at the very beginning of the show, kind of put a damper on everything. It was a very scary moment, and she was so horribly embarassed about it......I really felt so bad for her! I hope she is ok and that this doesn't happen to her again!

I thought that certain couples did way better than before, and others were disappointing. I do think that Mark Cuban is way below the rest, and needs to be voted off. Hopefully that will happen tonight.

If it isn't him, then I have to believe it will be Jenny, like you said.

Marie didn't get great scores, but I think her fans will keep her in.

Jane Seymour is getting better each week, as is Mel, and Sabrina.

For me, Helio was a big letdown this week. He can do better!! I think he shines more when it's an upbeat dance, not a slow one.

Hope all is well with you!!

Take care, and thanks for the recap!!

Marie's "faint" was a little disconcerting! I love her personality. They said when she opened her eyes, and saw everyone gathered around her the first words out of her mouth were, "Oh crap." She is just fun to watch -- and to listen to!

I felt that Helio was thrown off his usual style when Julianne told him he had to look serious and passionate. I don't think that's him! He is ALWAYS smiling. So, I think it was hard for him to try to be someone he isn't. Hope it doesn't hurt their scores, because I like them too.

There are so many this time who I REALLY like. It is really going to be hard to watch when the also-rans like Mark and Jenny are gone and they have to start eliminating really GOOD ones.

As much as I like Helio, I have to say that I think Sabrina is the best dancer -- she is just great in all the dances! And, by the way, have you heard anything about her and her partner being romantically involved? Something was said last night, I don't remember what, that made me think they might be.

Thanks for the recap. Even though I saw it, it's fun to get someone else's take. Looking forward to the results tonight!

I am now addicted to this show! I watched the results tonight and I can't get enough of the flashy outfits and glittering sequins. *sigh*, I'm like a fish - I love shiny things. Thanks for getting me hooked!

Nap warden...I hope you got to watch the results show...too bad you were caught in traffic..I didn't get to watch it until lunch time the next day...only then fast forwarding through it, to get it all in...I look forward to next week, hopefully things will be less chaotic for me.

Linda..I totally agree with you..Great minds think alike, huh?

Sandra....I agree with you as well. I truly love Helio...I hope he wins, but I doubt it...I think Sabrina is going to be the winner this year, and Jenny is going home next week.

Ellinghouse....I am with you on Helio...got to pull for our Indy car driver. Besides, he is totally cute and I love his personality!

Jewel...I know. I love looking at their costumes..wishing I were 10 years younger, 20 lbs lighter..I would totally take ball room dance lessons...I love to dance, but to dance like that...sigh...would be amazing. Glad I hooked ya!
LOL...

A novelist...yeah, it scared the crap out of me too..I thought she had a heart attack or something...glad to know she is ok.

Thanks for stopping by, yall..take now!
