I HAVE BECOME A SLACKER.....

When it comes to Dancing with the Stars/American Idol...I have become a slacker. For that I apologize. I did not get to watch Dancing last night....it was such a beautiful evening, after work, Hubby and I decided to take the kids and go for a picnic at our local park....it was too nice to stay cooped up in the house.
We stopped by Subway, bought some sandwiches...then headed to the park.

I haven't posted pictures of my little guys in awhile..so, here is an abundance of them...

Afterwards, we stopped by Dairy Queen for ice cream, then it was home for baths/bedtime...

The smiles on their faces, their laughter as they played, was exactly what I needed to lift my spirits...of course, Max had to pick me a "flower" which was accompanied by a kiss and a hug...

Dancing With The Stars can't compete with that....

No, DWTS cannot compete with that at ALL. Looks like such fun!

To be little and not realize those flowers are weeds and the bane of their father's existence. So innocent...

Looks like a lot of fun. We're stuck in the 40's, which means we are also stuck inside.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your evening so very completely!! Yep, you surely deserved it! Looks like the kids were enjoying themselves very much, too!! :0)

I tell ya, I've had issues with people having this deep desire to call me when Idol is on, so that I miss parts of the show! WHY????? WHY????? MY GAWD, WHY????

This has happened for the last 3 or 4 weeks now!! WTF, man!! sheeeeeesh

Hubby I can't avoid, but he has this uncanny ESP or something, to where he seems to call me most often when I am busy with something, and my cell is on the OHTER side of the freakin house! GAH!

Other people, I've usually already avoided for the last couple few days (yes, I do this often *giggles*), and if I don't answer "this time", they're probably gonna call out the calvary, or something! *sigh*

Yet, when not a damn thing is going on, NOBODY calls me!! NEVER! EVER!

Toni..they had a blast...it was fun, I hope we can have many more evenings like that. Makes me wish I were a school teacher..have summers off with them. Sigh....

Peggy..yeah, I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was a weed, the very weed that Mom has been getting call after call at work about....

Daddio..hope your weather warms up soon.

Melissa..I know...people always call and interrupt me too...it is frustrating. I tend to try and continue to watch my show, listen to them as well, then I'm like, "huh, what did you say?"...

Pissy..yeah, it was...until some little punks thought they would jump in front of them, while they were waiting patiently for a little girl to finish on the tire swing..better believe Mamabear jumped in and set them straight!

Flat..I know! It was only a six inch sub..but the little stinker ate every bite of it..which for and eight year old, that was a lot of sandwich!

Sandy...it is a great park..it has a zoo and a swimming pool/water slide, with a lazy river and everything..we spend a lot of time there in the summer.

Diva..for sure. I was so sick of the cold temps...nice that spring is finally here and we can get out and enjoy it.

Novelist...yes, we had a wonderful evening...hopefully there will be lots more.

It's finally nice enough where I'm from that going to the park is actually fun and you won't freeze your butt off in the process! Happy day Spring has finally come to WI!
